Certified Scrum Master (Eng)
This is the definitive training for anyone who wants to gain an in-depth understanding of agile work and Scrum—regardless of your role. The course is conducted in collaboration with our partner Tobias Fors at Holifant. Read more here (swedish) »
During intensive, experience-based days, you will learn what makes agile work with Scrum effective and how to help the teams in your organization become creative, productive, and deliver with quality.
Take aways:
- A deeper understanding of how the flow in Scrum works, and why
- How, as a Scrum Master, you can help your team become productive and creative
- How responsibilities are distributed across the roles in Scrum
- Practical tips and experiences from both the course leader and other participants
Course Structure
At Citerus, we believe in experience-based learning. The course combines theory and discussions with carefully selected simulations, games, and interactive exercises designed to create “aha” moments. You will gain inspiration and new ideas on how your organization can develop and become more efficient. The course is conducted in Swedish (certification is in English; see more info below).
Target Audience
The Certified Scrum Master course is suitable for both those who want to become a Scrum Master and those in other roles who wish to gain a deep understanding of Scrum. Future Scrum Masters, team members, and managers will all benefit from an in-depth understanding of Scrum, the principles that drive success and challenges, the differences between a group and a team, how to lead others, and what it means to work in an agile way.
Prerequisites
Over the years, we have found that those who get the most out of the course are those who have already familiarized themselves with the basics of Scrum. Therefore, we recommend that you read a book about Scrum before the course, or (if you have less time) go through the Scrum Alliance’s own summary of Scrum.

Becoming a Certified Scrum Master
To become a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), one must study the basics of Scrum, attend a CSM course, and pass an online exam through the Scrum Alliance. You can read more about the certification program on the Scrum Alliance website. The certification exam (two attempts) is included in the course fee. To be certified, active participation in all sessions and exercises, as well as full attendance on both days (see times in booking information), is required.
